An Unwelcome Diagnosis
Robb Olexin, a longtime supporter of DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation and a pillar in the hockey community, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is fortunate to be receiving the best care possible through the Mayo Clinic, only an hour away from his home. Robb is currently on a leave of absence from work at Becker Arena Products. His benefits are assisting with his medical costs; however, the long-term impact will require financial assistance. While the long-term outlook is unknown, we all know that Robb is a fighter and let’s show him he is not alone. Please join us in this private fundraising opportunity to assist with his long-term medical expenses and some of the cost for his family and close friends, both near and far, to visit and assist with his care.

Robb is a special person at Becker Arena Products in terms of his personal approach outside of the daily business grind. He is a person who places others before himself and does not like to draw attention to himself. He is often volunteering his time to work with organizations and with people who are in need and less fortunate. Robb is a very giving person who does not want to let people down.

Robb and Becker Arena Products have been working with DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation for years in planning a potential ice arena designed for everyone. Robb has been involved in the project and donated many hours of his personal time as well his heart and soul to the Foundation as a true supporter. Robb is a close friend of the entire DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation Team and is an incredible ambassador of the organization. He never hesitates to offer his assistance in any way, like when he flew out to Colorado for the DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation Winter Classic Pond Hockey Tournament presented by DREP. The tournament needed a seasoned Zamboni driver and Robb was on a plane to save the day, helping to make the event a rousing success.
