CJ “Hoss” Hunter, originally from Omaha but finding his home in Littleton during middle school, has left a lasting mark on the hockey community for several years. Beginning his journey with the Foothills Flyers, he quickly established himself as a dedicated player and leader within the local hockey scene. His commitment and passion for the sport led him to become an integral part of numerous DawgNation teams, where his skills and camaraderie were highly valued. Throughout his extensive involvement in hockey, CJ’s resilience and determination have been unwavering, even in the face of personal challenges. Recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, he confronts this new chapter with admirable courage, understanding that it requires significant adjustments to his lifestyle. Despite the obstacles, CJ remains deeply committed to his sport, finding solace and strength in the joy that hockey offers. His journey serves as an inspiration to many, demonstrating the power of perseverance and the enduring spirit of a true hockey player.
