Deputy Heath Gumm

Deputy Gumm was killed in the line of duty on January 24, 2018. While responding to a crime in progress, Deputy Gumm followed a suspect behind a house. The suspect opened fire and Deputy Gumm suffered a lethal gunshot wound(s) to his chest. Deputy Gumm was 32 years old and he leaves behind his wife. This unexpected loss will certainly cause great financial hardship on Deputy Gumm’s immediate family. Deputy Gumm died a hero. He sacrificed his life so that our community can be safe.
