I don’t get out on the course very often, and that was very apparent yesterday at Willis Case in Denver. However, despite my ineptitude, we had an absolute blast, and still somehow finished 2nd in the seven team tournament!
I’ve had the honor and pleasure to play with some incredible humans but yesterday may have taken the cake. All three of my partners were veterans of the US Army. One a West Point grad, one a Vietnam vet, and all three placing their country ahead of themselves. Between them, three wars were fought, and three men returned to lead lives as husbands, fathers, leaders and friends. Here’s to you boys, thank you for an amazing day and thank you for your service!
