Dawg Bowl XVI wrapped up after five incredible days of hockey, community, and unforgettable moments, bringing together players, fans, sponsors, and volunteers to celebrate the game while supporting hockey families in need.
One of the biggest highlights of the tournament was the debut of our hybrid exhibition game featuring Paralympic sled hockey players and former NHL players sharing the ice together. The fast-paced, highly competitive matchup showcased the incredible skill, speed, and creativity of both groups, while delivering one of the most unique experiences in Dawg Bowl history. Fans packed the stands and the response from everyone in attendance was overwhelmingly positive. It perfectly embodied what Dawg Nation is all about—finding new ways to bring people together through hockey. After the success of its inaugural year, this event is certain to return.
The championship games also produced a memorable milestone as the MW Top Dawgs captured their first-ever Platinum Division title. After years of assembling talented rosters featuring NHL greats such as Milan Hejduk, John-Michael Liles, and many other outstanding players, the organization finally broke through to earn the championship. Their victory was a testament to perseverance, teamwork, and the belief that every championship must be earned.
