What an incrdible group

It was quite a night to remember as I was surrounded by some of the best people I know. A young lady in the fight for her life, a first responder that is back after surviving a horrific accident, and an incredible man that hasn’t let the loss of limb slow him down.
Quincy Rohrbach has endured way more than any 19 year old deserves, but despite that she faces every day with determination and a beautiful smile. It was a night to remember for Quincy as her mom (Dorothy) treated her to amazing seats and Avs treated her to a big win over the Dallas Stars! I was blessed to make it just a little bit better with warmups on the glass and a signed hat from her favorite player, Nathan MacKinnon.
David Fancher is a caring and selfless person that has dedicated his life to helping others. Ten months ago David was on the scene responding to a minor accident when the emergency vehicle he was in was struck by stolen vehicle. David sustained life threatening and life changing injuries that put his future in doubt. It’s been a long journey, but last night we celebrated his return to his dream job and he thanked me for my small role in his recovery with a heartfelt gift of his personal challenge coin.
Sam Beveridge’s positive outlook on life is infectious. Last February a hunting accident left Sam with a shattered leg and in a race to save his life. There have been a few setbacks as Sam learns to live life without a significant portion of his right leg, but it hasnt slowed this remarkable man. Sam is back to work, back to being an amazing dad, back to riding his bike and back to encouraging others to live life to its fullest!
I believe the positive energy that I receive by just being around these tremendous souls makes me a better person, and that makes me one lucky guy! Thank you Quincy, David and Sam for opening your arms and hearts to me, I’m very blessed to know you all.
