In April of 2010 the world lost one of the good ones when we said goodbye to Jack Kelly. My friend was immensely proud of his girls (Meghan, Shannon, Devin) and bragged about them often. Last night was really special for me as I was surrounded by the “Kelly girls” as we presented the “Jack Kelly Award”. This is a coveted trophy that is presented to an individual that exemplifies the life that #21 lived. A life of compassion, sportsmanship, hard work, giving back and loving others. Last night the “Jack Kelly” was given to Garrett Ladd, and nobody deserves it more. Here’s to you Garrett, keep up the amazing work. And here’s to you Jack, you’ll never be forgotten.
