It’s been nine long years since the Old Dawgs lifted a trophy, but that all ended tonight as we finally took top honors as the WDHL Champs!
The hockey gods were definitely smiling on yours truly as I somehow lit the lamp for not one but two goals in our 3-1 victory over the league’s top squad.
But honestly our hero was Kenny Schoonover who made save after save after save to give us the unlikely victory. Hats off buddy!
I know it’s just a random late night beer league, but it was an absolutely awesome way to end a roller coaster week and I can’t help but think that Quincy Rohrbach had a little something to do with this one. Here’s to you Q!
