Nick Jordan’s life changed dramatically in 2020 when he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. The accident left him hospitalized for weeks, including time in the ICU, followed by extensive physical and occupational therapy. Despite his determination, an acquired limb length discrepancy limited his mobility and prevented him from returning to many of the activities he loved. For nearly five years, Nick focused on recovery, uncertain whether he would ever regain the life he once knew.
When that long-awaited correction finally came in 2025, one of Nick’s greatest hopes was to return to the ice. Through Hockey Heals, he found more than an opportunity to play hockey again. He found a community that welcomed him, encouraged him, and celebrated every milestone along the way. Since joining the group, Nick has improved each and every time he has stepped onto the ice. With every skate, he has grown in confidence, strength, and skill, embracing both the challenges and the rewards of his recovery journey. Today, Nick is a valued member of the Hockey Heals family and a wonderful addition to the group.
