It was quite the sports weekend with the Broncs punching their ticket to the playoffs and Team USA going for the gold at the World Juniors!
In between I was fortunate to sneak a ton of hockey including two daze on the pond at John Dolan’s “rink of dreams”. Saturday was really special as we hosted the Hockey Heals crew, many for their first taste of pond hockey! And today I stepped it up a notch (maybe a couple notches too high) and enjoyed a really fast skate that included the always entertaining Derek Armstrong!
I chose the right jersey today when I grabbed my Denver Cutthroats #8. Derek happened to be the Cutthroats coach during their two years in the CHL and he has also donned the Top Dawgs sweater on many occasions!
This evening is reserved for a relaxing night with a little ice, a comfy chair, a warm fire, a cold brew and hopefully an American gold!
