Nick Fioretto is a young man that loves to teach the game he loves. Moving to Colorado from Chicago, Nick coaches the 10U group for the Jr Pioneers, specializing in developing goalies.
This instructor and mentor was recently diagnosed with T-Cell lymphatic lymphoma. The cancer is currently in his lung and neck and the fast growing tumors have predicated the doctors to begin an aggressive chemo to stay ahead of the game.
In addition to coaching, Nick is a student and also holds down other part time jobs to make ends meet. Without health insurance the financial challenges could be very difficult, this is where our hockey community comes in.
