What a special night as I witnessed my dear friend be recognized and honored for his remarkable life. Dave Morgan is officially a member of the Metro State Sports Hall of Fame, and nobody deserves it more than Morgs!
I’m not being biased when I say his induction speech was by far the best of the evening. Dave’s life path was not an easy one and easily could have had a very different ending. However, my friend instead chose to make some life changing decisions that were not easy, but set the stage for a tremendous journey that has, and continues to, positively impact the lives of hundreds.
Here’s to you Morgs, soak it all in, you deserve it! I personally could not be more proud to call you my friend and teammate.
