Max Larrson

In May of 2026, Max Larrson was diagnosed with Stage III Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue. The treatment hit him hard as he could barely eat or speak and in early July Max developed immunotherapy-induced hepatitis, forcing doctors to stop treatment and rush him into surgery.

Later in July, Max underwent a partial glossectomy and neck dissection and two days later, an emergency overnight surgery was needed to remove a hematoma. He spent over two weeks in the hospital relearning to breathe, speak, and eat before finally going home. Just eleven days later he was rushed to the ER, requiring a transfusion and a second hospital stay to manage a burst hematoma and infection.

Max has now begun a six week regiment of daily radiation and weekly chemotherapy. Through all of this, Max has not been able to work since July while his wife Sarah has remained steadfast by Max’s side spending countless hours with doctors and insurance and at his bedside through multiple hospital stays, surgeries, and complications for his care.

Please consider helping Max during his long road to recovery.
