This was Les to me. This picture was taken at Craig Hospital in 2022. That day I met two terrific young men, Ethan and Ashton. Both had been recently paralyzed and both were admitted to Craig that same day. I knew it was a really difficult time for both young men so I called my friend Les to give them some words of encouragement. Without hesitation, Borsh said, “I’ll be there”. Despite the circumstances, there were smiles, laughs, stories told, advice given and, of course, a few tears. Hope was provided by Les, that’s what he did. This is how I will remember my friend. He was always willing to help his fellow man with kindness and love. Now that’s a true warrior.
