Off to a Fast Start
The Junior DAWGS, led by Coach Jan Hejda, are off to an incredible start. In their first and inaugral tournament, they took an impressive second place. They were in Chicago this last weekend for the Shy Town Shuffle. They competed in the triple A elite division, U15 boys. They fought hard in the championship game losing 4-2 to the Junior Reapers, an elite club out of Illinois. Incredible seeing Jan Hejda and the boys wearing DAWGS jerseys and coming out of the gate so strong! Congrats Coach Jan Hejda!
Developing Athletes and Leaders
Coach Hejda is leading an eight week Junior DAWGS Hockey experience designed to grow athletes as hockey players, leaders, and citizens. As a ten year alumni of the NHL and with a nineteen year pro career, Jan has a vast knowledge and a love of the game that he enjoys sharing with athletes.
