One of the most meaningful moments from the 3v3 Clash came during our recipient presentations.
Yesterday, we had the honor of presenting Josh Lubitz and his family with a check for $17,000.
Josh is a longtime supporter of Dawg Nation and a respected member of Colorado’s hockey community. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with stage four cancer and began a difficult journey that no family ever wants to face.
During the presentation, Josh shared that he is now four months into treatment and that the results have been encouraging, with treatments showing positive signs.
While the financial support is important, the message behind it may be even more meaningful.
An entire hockey community is standing beside Josh and his family.
To everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored, played, bid in the auctions, and made this day possible, thank you.
Because of you, Josh can spend less time worrying about bills and more time focusing on getting healthy.
