John Davis has been part of youth hockey in Colorado since 1977 mostly as a coach, for many teams in the Denver metropolitan area. John is a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Susie and John have been married for 55 years. In 2024, Susie endured an unfortunate series of back surgeries, and has been in and out hospitals ever since. She is currently still in the hospital with little to no movement in her lower body. With the strength of her family, she is fighting every day to improve. John is at her bedside everyday supporting and rooting on his soulmate. Living on a fixed income, we are looking to help the Davis family get their house wheelchair accessible and address their new transportation needs. They will require a handicap van to transport her to her future medical appointments. John has spent his life giving to Colorado youth hockey, and we are asking for the community to rally around John and Susie in their time of need. All help is much appreciated, funding helps, but if you have a company or skill that can help with any of these improvements or needs, this would also be a wonderful gift.
