James is a long-term highly respected ice hockey referee at both the youth and adult levels. Originally from Philadelphia, he moved here in 1996. He lives with his 17 yr old daughter, Arden and his girlfriend, Tracy. He has been playing hockey for 45 years and took up reffing 5 years ago. He loves cycling and is an avid skier. He has worked over 4,000 games in that time. Several weeks ago, he had a serious heart attack. Although he is resting at home at present, he will be having quadruple bypass surgery in early April and will be out of work for a considerable time as he recovers. Insurance will cover some, but not all, of his medical expenses, and he will not have any income for many months. Please donate to help this special man in the Colorado hockey community!
