I haven’t had a jam packed day quite like this in quite a while. 5 am wake up call to get in my Molly 5k. Then a quick protein shake and off to a very special Hockey Heals. This one included Cooper and Campbell Tippett as my little pal patrolled the ice being pushed by Dan Webb. Campbell on the other hand spent the session schooling this old guy with some dazzling moves! At the end of the skate Coop blew us away by presenting Dawg Nation with four checks totaling nearly $500! We were just getting started as we headed to Milender White Construction as they surprised us with a check for $4,000 and allowed us to share some of our heart warming stories. The day was still young as we made our way to the Dawg offices to work on the CLASH 3v3 prep. Still lots to do but Saturday is shaping up to be an incredible day! I didn’t really have the time, but I somehow still snuck in a little weight training before heading to Ball Arena where I was honored to lead a tour of the legendary facility for the Czech Paralympic sled hockey team. Of course I bragged about Milan and Jan as we took lots of pics with this gracious and amazing crew from across the pond. I still wasn’t done yet though as we made our way across town for a tour and happy hour at the incredible Wings Over the Rockies, my first ever visit to this incredible place. As I headed home I thought to myself, wow, what a day, what a blessed day! Now it’s time recharge and do it all again!!
