Honor Bob Lundy

Robert “Bob” Lundy

It’s been a rough couple of years in the Colorado hockey community, especially for our friends that wear the stripes. This past weekend, CIHRA hockey legend, Robert “Bob” Lundy, was tragically killed in an auto accident in Lafayette, Colorado. Bob was 73. Bob leaves behind a wife and daughter.

The family has requested that donations in Bob’s honor can be made directly to DAWG Nation, one of Bob’s favorite charities.

Bob, a long time official, has been involved with and/or in charge of the NHL’s off ice officiating crew at all Colorado Avalanche games for over twenty years. His contributions to Colorado officiating are too vast to list, but it is safe to say he touched hundreds of lives and will be missed greatly.

Bob’s service:
Saturday the 15th at 200pm
First United Methodist Church
1421 Spruce St in the City of Boulder
