It was quite a morning at today’s Hockey Heals skate. I wore my favorite jersey In honor of the 29 families that lives were forever changed on April 6, 2018. It was also pretty special to share the ice with Jonny Landis, Sienna Garaffa and Van Stone. All three were involved in life altering accidents that left them clinging to life. Each suffered a traumatic brain injury and each is truly a miracle. Sienna will be graduating from Aspen High School this spring, Jonny will earning a degree from the University of Colorado in May, and Van continues to wow us all with his resilience and determination. Here’s to everyone that never gives up, you inspire us all.
