One the best parts of my life is creating special memories. For those close to me, these moments are affectionately called “Cappy Magic”. Well today I got to sprinkle a little ”Cappy Magic” on my own brother(Nigel)! A call from UCHealth last week got the wheels turning as they shared the Cup would be at the hospital and asked me if I had a cool story to share. And boy did I have the story! Helping set up an interview for Nigel (heart transplant) and Patrick Donnelly (awaiting a heart transplant) I was able to keep secret the fact that hockey’s Holy Grail would interrupt the interview and make a surprise appearance for my brother. But that wasn’t quite a enough for me, so after a phone call to Avs legend Adam Foote, #52 agreed to join me in the surprise!! And what a surprise it was!!!
