Happy 4th to all of you and especially to those who have served or will be serving. This is Dawg Nation intern Alec Whipple, the first DU Pioneer ever to be in ROTC and play varsity hockey at the same time. He’s appropriately in training at West Point this summer, but will be back on the blue line next season to defend the NCAA title for our beloved Pios. We’re in good hands with young men like this!
