A great afternoon hanging out with Mike and Benji Motew. Benji backstopped the Humboldt Broncos within a whisker of SJHL finals and is gearing up for an encore performance this coming season.
The Illinois native has signed a letter of intent to play at the Air Force Academy and expects to be part of the 2025-26 Falcon squad! Can’t wait to catch Benji “standing on his head” at the Cadet Field House!
We also took a moment to introduce Benji to another legendary goaltender, George Maresh! The family is in Denver this weekend and staying at the CLIO in Cherry Creek where George does a top notch job as the concierge of this amazing hotel!
