A very busy week…
The culmination of a very busy week ended with a check presentation to a very surprised Carla Peters at South Suburban Ice Arena. Carla suffered a severe broken leg about four weeks ago that has taken her off the ice and has resulted in a slew of medical bills and quite a bit of missed work.
Nominated by friend and teammate Sue Baker, Carla’s teammates gathered as DAWG Nation’s Dave Chamberlin and Mike Freeman shared Carla’s story and presented her and her husband (Dale) a check for $2,500!
We wish Carla a speedy and full recovery and look forward to having her back on the ice!!!
