Ethan Stadler

The hockey community has been hit hard lately with tragedy after tragedy. But at the same time we continue to witness unprecedented generosity as friends and teammates step up time and time again. Tommy Stadler is still struggling to regaiin his footing after losing his 20 year old son, Ethan, just five weeks ago. Although Tommy’s life will never be the same, he takes comfort in knowing he’s not alone. That was never more evident than on Sunday as the hockey community once again stepped up to take care of one of its own. Kudos go out to Mike Pijanowski, Kevin Scroboni, Garrett Ladd, Jason Martinez and Jesse Badder for all going the extra mile for a friend in need.
An emotional Tommy shared, “Thank you guys for everything. I can’t be more thankful for the love and support from the hockey family. Love ya all.”

The Stadler family have been DAWG supporters for years. Ethan’s father Tommy is an avid adult league player, a great teammate, and a friend for years.  The Stadlers find themselves in mourning after the recent tragic loss of their son Ethan.

We at DAWG are looking to help Tommy and family with funeral expenses.
