A Tournament Road Trip Takes a Terrifying Turn:
Eric grew up playing hockey for The St Peter’s Hockey Club. Eric now coaches his son Brayden’s 12U team for St. Peters and has for 3 years now. Tragedy struck on their way home from a hockey tournament in Wisconsin. Eric had a seizure while driving. Which led up to a horrific car accident. Eric was airlifted to a nearby hospital and the family was taken by an ambulance. Since the accident, Eric has continued to experience seizures but his broken back is starting to heal. While Mary is still in a brace for her broken back and is waiting for a surgery determination. Both kids were slightly injured but healed well thankfully! Brayden is 11 and Harper is 9. Medical bills are starting to add up and the family will be facing a challenging road moving forward. This couldn’t have happened to a more valued family in our hockey community.
