Dawg Bowl XIV will have a pair of University of Denver national champion goaltenders battling in the Platinum Division this year.
Evan Cowley was on the 2017 Pioneers team that hoisted the trophy and will play for the Top Dawgs come next week’s tournament.
Matt Davis was on the team that won in 2022 and was the stalwart in the crease this season in 2024 to help lead the Pios to their 10th championship in program history. He will be suiting up for SSSIHL at the Dawg Bowl.
