In the mid 90’s Craig Fitzpatrick was a wide eyed cadet on the Air Force Academy campus. After graduating his eyesight began to fail changing the life trajectory of this over achiever. Today Craig returned to his old stomping grounds to share his story and inspire others. Now a husband, father and successful business man, Craig has not let blindness define him, but rather motivate him to lift up others. With the help of Doris Donnelly and several volunteers we joined in to introduce a group of eager students from the Colorado School of the Blind to the game of hockey. Most had never put on skates before or ever thought of playing hockey. One student shared, “this is the best day of my life!” HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE!
