A huge congrats to Humboldt Broncos head coach Scott Barney for leading the Canada-West squad to the gold medal at the World Junior A Challenge!
It was an unlikely path to the finals as Canada-West lost their first three games before righting the ship and rolling off three straight wins including a 7-2 victory over Canada-East in the finals!
I met Scott in 2019 and honestly, it’s tough to find a better human being than the Bronco head man. Scott was truly the perfect fit to lead the Broncos and their community after the 2018 tragedy.
Congrats Scottie, so proud of you!
