We are in the final stages of Dawg Bowl XIII preparation and getting really excited for another memorable five days of changing lives! There will sure to be a ton of memories but what I may be the most excited for is seeing Brayden Camrud in a Top Dawgs sweater for the first time! Brayden was one of only two a Humboldt survivors that suited up for the Broncos the season following rhe crash. Over the past five years I’ve been blessed to get to know this remarkable young man and was even once mistaken for his dad! I’m obviously thrilled to have Cam on the ice but even more excited to have him on the stage. At 1 pm on Saturday, June 24th, Brayden will share his remarkable journey to recovery at the Edge Ice Arena. He’ll talk about how important community, support, love and understanding has paved the way in the healing process. It will be difficult but important, and I can’t be more proud of this brave young man. At the conclusion of his presentation we’ll be auctioning off one of Cam’s game worn Humboldt jerseys!! Brayden has generously donated this beauty as his way to “pay it forward” as we work together in helping others.
