Brian “The Glide” Hayes is a legend in the Colorado hockey world. This humble man has created something very special in Victor, Colorado and has introduced his life’s passion, hockey to literally hundreds.
This humble man was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year. His cancer is considered aggressive, with a PSA of 21 and a Gleason score of 4+4 in one of the affected areas.
Brian is 83 years young and still lives in Victor where he can oversee is “Rink of Dreams”. He is currently undergoing treatment, which includes radiation and androgen deprivation therapy, commonly known as ADT. This has required regular travel for radiation treatments, along with ongoing medical expenses.
One of Brian’s ADT medications has a substantial co-pay, and when combined with travel costs and other treatment-related expenses, we expect his out-of-pocket costs to be around $5,000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
