Over the years I’ve shared quite a few amazing “no coincidences” moments, but this one is right up there. All four of these guys are Avs draft pics and all have strong connections to Dawg Nation.
Tory Pitner – DU – played last two years for the Top Dawgs at the Dawg Bowl including this year’s Platinum championship team! Tory is slated to be my intern next year.
Jake Fisher – DU – son of Tony Fisher who owns K1 Sportswear. K1 made the original Dawg jerseys in 2003 and have also made every Survivor Game jersey and all of our Hockey Heals jerseys!
Teddy Lechner – Muskegon (USHL) – from Bloomington, Minnesota where he grew up with Dawg Nation recipient Ethan Glynn (JUST BE GR8) and they are still close friends.
Beckett Hamilton- Red Deer (WHL) – from Humboldt, Saskatchewan where he played for the Junior Broncos and attended Bronco games.

But what humbles me most is the pride that each of these young men have in being part of the Nation! GO DAWGS!
