A night that reminds us of what life is about! Love, joy, and community. And what a privilege it is to have that here with the Dawgs! 4 of our mighty Dawgs received their “Wish Upon a Puck” moment that we’ll all remember for a lifetime. Skating with the Avs, signed jerseys, behind the scenes tours, check presentations, family and friends, and a chance for their stories to be heard in a way that honors their strength. Play hard, play fair, give back! Hockey Fights Cancer night 2023 was pretty unbelievable. It was an honor to nominate Alyse to partake in the Avs Hockey Fights Cancer night, and a huge thank you to Northwoods Investors for showing their love and support to a valuable member of their team. What a great night!!!
Alyse began playing hockey in her home state of Oregon. Her love for the game started at a very young age. Alyse moved to the east coast to continue her hockey career at the high school level and played for The Lawrenceville School where she was inducted into their alumni athletic hall of fame. After high school Alyse was a four-year star at the highly regarded Providence College women’s program in the Hockey East conference, scoring 41 goals and 50 assists, earning conference accolades of Rookie of the Year, Honorable Mention All Star, and Academic All Star. After earning an MBA, Alyse moved back to the West Coast where she worked as an accountant in San Francisco, before joining Northwood Investors as an Accounting Manager in their Denver office in 2021. Alyse is currently battling breast cancer, with treatment including a double mastectomy and ongoing chemotherapy. We welcome everyone’s support!
