Top DAWG

Over the years there have been quite a few terrific players to pull on the Top Dawg sweater and a few of those can only be described as Legends! Still possessing some mad skills but lacking the desire to skate with the “kids”, we decided to add the Lallier Legend Dawgs to this year’s Dawg Bowl docket! Led by Milan “Hedgie” Hejduk. The Legend Dawgs boasted over 3,000 NHL regular season games on their roster that included eight players with NHL experience!! Their opponents, the Big Hoses, were made up of local heros that represented ten different fire departments (including two in Minnesota)!

The ice was a little tilted as the Legends built a 13-0 lead until Shawn Gagnon slipped one in for the Hoses causing the near capacity crowd to erupt!! Despite the one sided score the ice was filled with laughter, smiles, admiration, and lots of photo ops!!

Big Hoses Coach/GM, David Fancher, shared, “this was a dream come true for our boys. Thank you DAWG Nation!”
