The very best part of of my life is being included in the lives of so many amazing families, and the Coombe’s are certainly one of those families. Don Coombe was important to me on so many levels, a teammate, a client, and a friend. His annual tax appointment was always scheduled for two hours even though his return only took ten minutes, but yup, we always filled every second of the two hours! Don and I told stories, exchanged advice and shared personal information, but we always laughed, and that’s what I will miss most.
Don literally squeezed everything he could out of this life. He defied the odds too many times to count, a ture miracle right before our eyes. He was loved by many and adored by his amazing family. Fittingly, Don was able to say “goodbye” to this world surrounded by his entire family, that is pretty special, and no one deserved that more than DC.
Here’s to you Don, thank you for being my friend. You’ll be missed.
