My life’s journey allows me to meet some pretty remarkable people and today was one of days.
Fred Merchant and Pat Long have both led full and successful lives. Pat enjoyed an illustrious career in higher education and Fred excelled in the banking world. However, what makes these guys tick is their true love of hockey!
Pat has led “Long Hockey” since 1997. With four skates a week and literally hundreds of lives impacted! Fred recently led the charge in developing the “Over 80 Hockey Hall of Fame”.
These two “youngsters” are an inspiration to all of us! Today we shared a wonderful lunch full of stories about life, family and, of course, hockey.
Here’s to Fred and Pat, continue to set a beautiful example for all of us to follow!
