Perhaps the very best part about being the Dawg Father is running into past recipients and hearing about their remarkable journeys. Last night I was sitting with Hedgie when a handsome young man walked up and introduced himself.
Kieran O’Keefe was an infant that nearly lost his life in 2020, but is now a thriving and talented little hockey player! The grandson of NHLer Doug Smail, little Kieran is five years old and already playing with kids three years older than him!
Way to go Kieran! Can’t wait to see the next chapter!
