Jayce Politski

Sometimes life brings you to people exactly when you’re meant to meet them. That’s how we met Jayce Politski, a former Colorado College hockey player whose warmth and kindness are immediately felt.

In a quiet moment, Jayce shared the story of his son Paxton, who passed away earlier this year from a rare form of leukemia. He showed the tattoo he wears in Paxton’s honor and explained that his son passed at 1:43—numbers that also mean “I love you.” It was impossible not to feel the depth of love and loss in that small detail.

Jayce’s strength, and Paxton’s spirit, are powerful reminders of why DAWG Nation exists: to stand beside good people facing unimaginable challenges. And in moments like this, you realize there truly are no coincidences.

Please consider helping Jayce and his family in memory of Paxton!
