He’s to all the local ice masters that put in hours and hours to create the magical Colorado pond hockey rinks across the front range. After years of being an “ice master” myself I know first hand the dedication and commitment it takes to create these amazing rinks.
This weekend I was one the beneficiaries of all the work completed by John, Steve and Kevin. The ice, the weather and the cammerderie were all perfect!
Probably a bit much for this soon to be 62 year old, but I was blessed to log 5 hours of ice time in Indian Hills and Conifer over the last two days. Definitely worth the early wake up calls and sore muscles to enjoy my absolute favorite version of hockey!
