Maximizing Our Donations

Stretching Every Dollar

At DAWG Nation we take every donation very seriously. Through the generosity of many we are able to run on a very low operating budget by utilizing donations of all kinds. This dedication to cost savings includes hundreds of thousands of dollars in inkind donations each year. From office space, to travel costs, to ice time, to celebrity appearances, to skilled labor, we are very humbled by the extent of annual support that is garnered through the generosity of so many. These cost savings have enabled us to hand out financial support exceeding $5M and at the same time create incredible lasting memories at no cost to the organization.

What are the guidelines for nominations?

Assistance grants are available to any and all ADULT hockey players and/or their families in the Rocky Mountain Region who can show verifiable financial hardship due to health and/or medical related burden.

Is DAWG Nation a registered nonprofit?

Yes, DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.

How is the money awarded?

The grant and dollar amount will be voted on by the DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation board of directors and will be dependent on a variety of factors (such as, donations received through fundraising, sponsorship funds obtained, and foundation funds available.)

I’ve seen the impact DAWG Nation makes, and it’s nothing short of incredible. This organization changes lives and brings hope when it’s needed most. I’m proud to be DAWG for life.
