Epic Saturday

It was an epic Saturday filled with hockey, giving back and lifting up others while logging nearly 200 miles on the Colorado roadways!

Began the day with another Hockey Heals skate at the John Dolan’s “Rink of Dreams”. The incredible setting was a perfect place to share the Logan Boulet story of unselfishness and meet a couple of new friends that are eager to make a difference.

Next it was up to Frisco to surprise Chris and Alayna Kearns with a check for $17,000 to help the family through a challenging time that included a severe spinal infection that nearly left Chris in wheelchair. This one was part of the Logg Jam Pond Tourney that Tyler Kellogg selflessly hosts to raise money for Dawg Nation. This was another perfect place to spread the word of giving back!

Finally it was a visit to my friend Valdo in Silverthorne. Vlado recently shattered his collarbone in a beer league hockey game and I felt could use a little boost. The surgeon did a fantastic job patching my Slovak friend and we celebrated with my first ever Slovakian beer!

Finally home after that long one for a little wifey time and of course, Molly time!
