My good pal Craig Fitzpatrick is in town and, as usual, is looking to help others. Craig is an Air Force Academy grad that began losing his sight in his 20’s. However, that didn’t stop this amazing man from continuing to make his mark in this world. Among other things, Craig is pioneer and trailblazer in the sport of Blind Hockey. And now he’s an author!
He is in midst of releasing a book on his life and his hockey journey. All proceeds will go to growing the sport with the goal of making Blind Hockey part of the Paralympics. Craig‘s ambitions are high, and so are mine, so I took Craig to the morning skate at Ball Arena today and he gifted signed books to Joe Sakic, Jared Bednar, Matt Duchene, John-Michael Liles and Gabe Landeskog! All took the time to hear Craig’s story and offer their assistance.
Great work Craig, keep dreaming big and inspiring us all!
