Christina was recently diagnosed with returning cancer requiring major surgery, resulting in uncovered medical expenses and lost wages. Her husband Mike, a long-time CIHRA referee, will also need to take time off from work as her primary care-giver. Mike has refereed at youth, high school, college, and professional levels, and is the adult league director of the ICAHL at the Ice Center in Westminster.
