Pretty cool morning on the the pond with the one and only Kevin “Boner” Scriboni! Over the last couple of years, Kevin has faced a lifetime of adversity. Brushes with death, multiple hospital visits and tons of uncertainty.
As our motley crew of aging rink rats hit the ice it’s easy to take your health for granted. But for Kevin it was a milestone in his road to recovery. Hoping to join us for few shifts and call it day, Kevin instead wowed us all by staying for the full three hours! And played pretty darn well too!
Post skate my friend shared that he was overcome with emotion and even shed a few tears on his drive home. Mind you, Kevin is one of the toughest guys I know.
Kevin, I know you have been thrown an unfair amount of curveballs, but please know you have an army behind you. You’ve got this!
