Golfers Rally at Tee It Up
The tenth Tee It Up for DAWG Nation was a huge success with the help of our sponsors, golfers, supporters and volunteers! Through this teamwork we were able to lift up the O’Keefe family both financially and with lots of love and support from the hockey community! Their eight month old boy Kieran has already persevered multiple surgeries to overcome complications at birth, including surgeries to address a cleft palate and occluded airway. It was an honor to help this beautiful family. We will be sharing other great photos and stories soon
Home Visit
It was a heart warming day at the O’Keefe’s as we delivered the “real” check to this deserving family! Little Kieran met us at the door appropriately sporting his “Super DAWG” shirt!! It was a great opportunity for Cappy and Smalls to spend some quality time with this wonderful family and learn more about this little fighter’s journey to health. Kieran is doing terrific but does still have another surgery coming up in December, which we know he’ll once again come through with flying colors! Despite having a ton on his plate, Kieran’s proud papa (Shane) is already figuring out ways to “pay it forward”! Please join us in wishing Kieran and his family the very best!
