11t annual Tee it Up included a little of everything!
The 11t annual Tee it Up for DAWG Nation Invitational event included a little of everything. The sold out field was treated to a beautiful day that included a gorgeous course, fun contests, great prizes, mingling with celebrities and of course, GIVING BACK!
The weather was perfect and smiles were in abundance as the golfers gathered for a delicious post game meal that culminated with a life altering $60,000 check presentation to Van and Nicole Stone.

As we reflect…
As we reflect on the 2021 Tee It Up for DAWG Nation Invitational, sponsored by the TAG (The Ahbe Group), we want to thank you for all for the support and the dedication you show to Giving Back through the Tee It Up Invitational. We know not all of you were able to able to attend as this event sells out quickly. Even for those that played, some of you were not able to stay through dinner, so we wanted to make sure that you knew how the Giving Back turned out.
For our golfers, you heard on the course from Marty and Peter McNab as well as Super Dave Chamberlin and Michael Sullivan, we were “passing the hat” in support of Van Stone’s ongoing recovery and care. Van Stone is on a journey since a traumatic fall left him struggling to recover from a traumatic brain injury. Van came to us this summer to seek out a way that he could give back through volunteering. Unbeknownst to Van, plans were quickly formed to have him be the 2021 Tee It Up recipient.
We were all inspired.
We were all inspired by Van’s resilience and grit in his ongoing efforts to rehab from his traumatic brain injury he suffered on December 21, 2018. DAWG Nation was honored to receive these donations and pour in more to create a check for the Stone family of $60,000. Our generous sponsors, like Trevor Ahbe from TAG, Justin Chalfant from Patch My PC, and George Altz (representing team DREP) gathered around the Stone family as we presented the check. THIS IS A MUST WATCH!
Over our ten year history there have been many special moments that have literally changed the life paths of many. Unfortunately very few of those moments have been captured on video, so unless you were there in person you likely haven’t seen our true impact. But thanks to the very talented Trevor Knoll (RMK Visions) here’s a glimpse into what we do best. This video was taken shortly after dinner, as we surprised Van and Nicole Stone. On the course
We were honored to have Groove Auto as the Hole In One Sponsor and celebrated with Gregg Herbison as he ACED Hole 5 and won an excursion to Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa and $1,000 cash!
We had three Break the Glass Winners Courtesy of Northwoods Investors on the Driving Range Sponsored by The Lighting Agency.
You see, we don’t get to give Van and family a check for $60,000 without the generosity of our golfers and sponsors including our Putting Green Sponsor Actall Corporation.
