Wow, just wow. Today was absolutely perfect! I honestly pinch myself sometimes when I step back and reflect on the incredible moments that I’m blessed to be part of. My first ever national championship game will be one I’ll never forget as the DU Pioneers won a record tenth title!! The game was amazing, but sitting shoulder to shoulder with Ethan Glynn made it beyond my wildest dreams!
Here’s just a few of the other highlights:
– was upgraded to first class (no idea why), making the flight perfect
– Matt Carle (David’s brother) took the time swing by and spend time with us
– the DU starting lineup consisted of 5 young men that all wear Dawg sweaters
– player after player acknowledged me through the glass, making me feel extra special
– postgame at the Glynn’s was spectacular as I was surrounded by love all night long!
– my dear friend Jannie was in MN at the same time and spent the evening at the Glynn’s with me
– and the Humboldt Broncos won!!
I really don’t know how things could have been any better!! Days like these really do make me feel like the luckiest guy in the world!
