A Team of Survivors, Morning Skate, St. Louis Boys, and Super Joe

What a day of celebrating life! Surrounded by three gentlemen that have defied the odds it was definitely one for the ages! We began the day with an inspirational “Hockey Heals” skate, then off to Ball Arena to take in the morning skate, from there it was meet/greet with the St Louis Blues, and finally topped things off with suite life for the Avs victory! Along the way we hung with a couple of NHL Hall of Famers, rubbed shoulders with the Avs coaches, shared the ice with the greatest sled hockey player ever, but mostly just enjoyed a beautiful day with friends!

A Scary Sunday Night at Promenade

Matt is a DAWG through and through, he has played on and has helped managed  DAWG teams in the past and currently plays on Shitake at Promenade, Matt even took a shot to his ear at DAWG Bowl!!!  Matt is a member of CIHRA and donates his time every year to referee at DAWG Bowl, and has also coached youth hockey over the years.

Matt suffered a heart attack after his game Sunday night, he was transported by ambulance to the hospital and received and emergency stent placed. Matt remained in the ICU sedated and intubated for at least the next day.

At this point we are asking for any bit of support to help lift the financial piece of the major burden that Matt and his family has been dealt.
