Mason was a just like every other three year old. Energetic, curious and full on life. In August of 2023 that all changed. Mason experienced a seizure as the family was preparing for a hike. Over the next several weeks the seizures increased and Mason was diagnosed with Doose Syndrome, a rare childhood epilepsy. The result has been numerous trips to hospital and many unknowns.
Mason began experiencing over 100 seizures a day which has resulted continued medical treatments, major brain surgery and unfathomable pressure on this young family.
